Founded in 1891 as Charlotte's first streetcar suburb, Dilworth pairs bungalows and deep front porches with a busy strip of restaurants along East Boulevard.
Architecture and homes
Craftsman bungalows, American Foursquares and Queen Anne houses line streets laid out for the original streetcar. Rear additions are common, so square footage varies widely on similar lots.

East Boulevard and Park Road have long-running neighborhood restaurants, coffee and small shops.
